OK, onto the news, THE bedroom is finally finished! Woo Hoo - many hours of the dreaded plaster scraping finally paid off and tonight we 'move'

Regular readers will spot some of the booty collected from various sources over the last few months and it's been great finally putting it all together. I think that it's turned out nicely, it has a real cottage feel about it.

Only the bed & the clock radio have moved, everything else in the room is 'new to us', the most expensive items: New carpet £96 and a tin of Crown Paint - a whopping £23 BUT, bought locally (not a DIY giant) and good quality, I really hate cheap paint! Total makeover cost including these and all bedding, curtains, wardrobe & dressing table, embroideries, lamps, well everything else....under £155
